Avocado is an amazing source of GOOD fats. It is the kind of fat that builds up your brain, and supports your organs. Avocados are also a great source of fiber, Vitamin B E and K, and more potassium than bananas.
Typically, we see quacamole and chips or on a taco…but what if you paired it with some crisp veggies. You are increasing the fiber even more with great veggies plus getting all those great vitamins. It saves on calories and will give you that “full” feeling faster.
3 medium hass avocados, halved
1 lime, juiced
1/3 cup red onion, minced
1 small clove garlic, mashed
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
kosher salt and fresh pepper, to taste
Makes about 8 servings, serving size is a 1/4 cup.
